What's your limit ?
Have you ever heard that the "Sky is the limit" and what does that mean? It obviously has more to do with the word limit than sky, therefore to fully appreciate this phase the understanding of limit is required.
Therefore is a limit as far as you can go, get to, or the amount you can achieve? how confusing.
A limit is different for every single person. Whenever I think of this statement I wonder what the intent is for me to explore it. Am I not achieving my full potential ? I myself, or even another saying this to me, therefore acts as reminder that the limit reached today may not be the limit reached tomorrow and the limits reached in the past are not the limits one can challenge themselves to in the future. My limit is also not your limit, in fact it is most probable that it will be non-identical in many ways.
As humans we do come with our own set of beliefs and limits and therefore for most achieving a limit is just as individual . The only way you can fully understand the statement the "Sky is the limit " is to give it a go, if it doesn't work today, try again tomorrow. What is there to loose ? not a lot really and there can be indeed a gain. Its in this gain that the power of positivity propels itself into your being and this positivity sets in motion a way to look at life. Looking at life in this light, does not liberate you from darkness or negativity, however it does give you a vision of how you can get through the dark times. Remember life is not full of rainbows and fairytales, however seeing the positive in a negative gives you the "power" to live your life. It does always sadden me a little that people so easily give this "power" away. I know darkness is not that enjoyable but the only real way to drive out darkness is to experience it, work through it and towards your limit and repeat.
In this repetition you work towards your limit and that there is something to really think about. Remember each day that limit will change and in understanding that you give yourself your own power.
Owning your power does not mean you never have others in your circle to achieve your limit . What it does mean is you want people in your circle to share your limits, spot the difference . Want and need with people are where it can get jumbled and where you question your limit based on another. Your limit is not another's limit and that is what makes you more like you.
